Consulado australiano: Business Development Manager

Se ha abierto una plaza en el Consulado General de Australia donde laboro. La chamba es muy interesante y divertida, el ambiente es A1 y las condiciones de trabajo tienen mucho respeto por la persona en su balance vida/trabajo.

Se necesita una persona super fluida en ingles hablado y escrito.

El puesto reporta directamente al Consul General. Se encargara de desarrollar distintos sectores de la economia australiana en Peru, Ecuador, Colombia y Venezuela. El conocimiento del sector minero es deseable mas no limitante, se necesita una persona muy adaptable a cualquier sector de la economia.

Desired qualifications:

Work experience: minimum 5 years in a commercial or marketing function related to one of the following areas: services, education, mining, ITC or consumer goods.
Educational background: a university degree or equivalent in business administration, marketing or engineering
Fluent in written and spoken English (considered a must)
Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)
Having studies in Australia an advantage

Available to travel domestically and internationally
Innovative, resourceful and accustomed to working without direct supervision

International experience

Job description:

Provide commercial advice to Australian companies wanting to export to, or invest in, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela, including:
Assess market potential for client's goods and services
Identify potential customers and key contacts in the industry
Market research
Develop market entry strategies and marketing plans
Find suitable partners, agents, distributors, contractors, etc
Make presentations on behalf of clients
Represent clients in tender processes or projects
Promote the region (Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela) to the Australian business community
Promote Australian industry to the above mentioned markets (through presentations at seminars, shows, articles in newsletters, etc)
Assist local companies to find suitable Australian suppliers
Identify business opportunities for Australian companies
Develop strong links with key allies in Peru and Australia
Assist in general promotional activities promoting Australia
