SUMMARY:

Under the direction and supervision of the Project Area Representative, the Administrative Secretary provides secretarial and administrative support to the office in Peru, assisting with logistical support to projects and cooperants, reporting, banking and clerical duties and plays an important role in the smooth functioning and safe operations of the Office.


REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

Five years of experience in a similar role providing secretarial, administrative and accounting support.
Minimum three years of collage education related to Business Administration, Accounting, or graduated from a Secretarial Commercial School.
Fluency in Spanish and English (Spanish Level 5, English Level 4).
Demonstrated creativity and innovation in relation to their work.
Advanced level computer skills in the Windows environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet usage and familiarity with the latest telecommunications technologies;
Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Interest and willingness to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.
Responsibility, efficiency, reliability, tact, and ability to handle confidential information.
Proven ability to take Initiative and to show a commitment to teamwork.
Ability to work independently and with a minimum of supervision.
Excellent interpersonal relations and team building competencies.
Attitudes and behaviors which show respect for different cultures.
Flexible, ability to work in an organization committed to continuous improvement.
Requirements:

Ability to work as part of a team in a participatory manner.
